After 2 years of working with families, therapists, and kids, this is how we redesigned conversations with children.
1. Designed for Kids
Every detail was redesigned to make kids feel safe and curious. Brighter colors make the cards feel like a toy, not a tool. A rounded, easy-to-read font helps kids engage comfortably. And instead of peppers, we use footprints to show emotional depth; turning it into a gentle journey rather than a test.
2. Made for Every Family
Kids express themselves differently, so the cards do too. They can speak, draw, act, or write their answers. Symbols reflect siblings, divorce, adoption, and rainbow families, so every child feels seen. Some cards are made for parents to answer first, modeling vulnerability instead of “fixing.”

What I didn’t expect from the Family Bundle was how easily it fit into real life. We’ll pull a card during dinner or before bed, and the conversation naturally deepens without anyone feeling put on the spot. The questions are thoughtful without feeling heavy, and playful without being silly. It’s one of the few “family tools” we’ve tried that actually gets used again and again, because it feels natural, not forced. A really smart way to create small moments of connection that actually stick.

It's for those priceless moments
My children are aged 7 and 10. We've played the game a handful of times now, each time exploring a different level. We use the playing set alongside the deck of question cards when we're home - and the cards alone when we're on the go. The playing set is really a game changer - watch out for the freeze card (a firm favourite for us)!
What this game does for us is something I can't really put into words... As parents you'll know how hard it is to get deep conversations going with your kids, or even broach topics you normally wouldn't. It normally happens when you're driving and they're sitting in the back of the car - that's when the unrestrained chat comes out, when you secretly smile to yourself that your child is opening up. We got that with this game, and because it's a game, it's totally natural. No one senses the expectation or pressure.
It's fun. The endless questions mean the kids don't get bored - or sometimes they're dying for a favourite question to keep coming up, the ones that cause the giggles. The fact that we as parents are players too equalises the playing field. We have to be honest and we share things that make the kids laugh at us or gape at us in disbelief. Those moments are gold.
